  1. I suppose on the tomatoes it all depends on what kind of support you’re giving them and even moreso what kind you’re planting. There are tomatoes that promise to grow only 18 inches high and there are tomatoes that easily grow 10 feet high given support. How are you going to be staking them, and what kind are they?

  2. I’ve planned on growing mostly indeterminates with St. Pierre and san marzano and an heirloom Brandywineish type that I fermented/dried the seeds on myself from a local farmer. Another variety or two here and there.

    Plan to stake using a combination of cages for the bushy types and a teepee trellis covering the indeterminate.
